Alasdair is a British composer based between Edinburgh and London. He writes music for Universal Production Music, Extreme Music, BBC Production Music, Sonoton, APM and London Sync. Recent placements of Alasdair’s music include: Jimmy Kimmel Live, Formula 1: Drive To Survive, NBC 2026 Winter Olympics, and BBC Panorama.

Alasdair has received two nominations at the Production Music Awards: Best Drama Score in 2025 and Best Epic Hybrid Trailer in this year’s awards in November 2026.

Graduate of Berklee College of Music on a scholarship (Summa Cum Laude). Winner of the Berklee Contemporary Writing and Production Achievement award and BBC Young Jazz Musician of the Year Semi-finalist.
